Hong Kong, as an international financial center, faces multiple external threats in the financial industry. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) released the “2023/24 Thematic Review Report on Cybersecurity for Licensed Corporations” on February 6, 2025, highlighting key security measures, risks of hacking, and requirements for remote access.
In response to the security concerns revealed by the SFC, our self-developed system specifically assists financial companies in addressing regulatory pain points. This system integrates with core accounts and trading systems, collecting and analyzing customer login and transaction behavior data to achieve the following objectives:
- Monitor abnormal access to systems caused by hacking, as well as unusual logins to customer accounts.
- Monitor abnormal trading behaviors of customers.
- Monitor related accounts and their trading activities to identify wash trading and whether it causes significant market fluctuations.
- Monitor employees’ daily operations in the trading settlement system.
